| Wickham Lodge is a beautifully restored house offering
every modern comfort situated on the riverbank in Aylesford, one of the
oldest and most picturesque villages in Kent. Cherith and Richard
provide a warm and hospitable welcome for their guests.
Recently the Georgian Carriage House and Stable have
been completely renovated to provide self-catering accommodation beside
the house in the beautiful gardens. In the centrally heated Stable
Cottage there is accommodation sleeping two people - downstairs there
is a large double bedroom, ensuite bathroom, separate shower room and
fully fitted kitchen/dining room. Attached to the cottage there is a
covered Pergola with grapevine and passionflower. This provides parking
or an eating out area in the summer months.
Upstairs there is a comfortably furnished sitting room
with a futon. Great care has been taken with the fitments and furniture
in the cottage to give people the opportunity to enjoy an extremely
comfortable visit.
In mid and high seasons, weekly bookings run from
Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks are available (minimum 3 nights).
Well-behaved dogs, with responsible owners, are welcome
@ £3 per night per dog - not allowed in the bedroom. There is a
non-smoking policy throughout the property.
