The Village - Aylesford is a traditional village with post office and local shop. There are restaurants and public houses, offering a selection of food. The Chequers Inn, close to Wickham Lodge, is of Tudor origin, and has a relaxed atmosphere where families and children are welcome.

Wickham Lodge has ample off-street parking, and, as it is tucked away in a quiet spot in the village, everything is within walking distance.

Directions:

From The West - Proceed along the M20 to Junction 5, signposted Maidstone West/Aylesford. Go to the roundabout at the top of the hill and turn right. At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right into Hall Road. At the bottom of this road turn right towards the village, over the railway crossing and then the river Bridge. Turn left into the village, go through the traffic lights, turn left down the Quay just past the Chequers public house.

From The East - Proceed along the M20 to Junction 6. Follow the road signs to Aylesford village. Once you leave the main road you will pass Travis Perkins timber yard on your left and then the Safeways depot and Community Centre on your right. Continue into the village, cross the traffic lights and turn left down the Quay past the Chequers public house.

From The North - Leave the M2 at Junction 3 and follow the road signs to Maidstone. You will go down a long hill.
